Football for Change Tournament – 16 Days of Activism  25th November to 10 December 2025

To be officiated by FKF ( Nyakach Branch). Coaches Robert Dutchmaster

Kisumu County has one of the highest cases of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) in Kenya — 36%, above the national average of 32%. As a daughter of this soil and an Aspirant for Nyakach Constituency, I cannot stay silent when our mothers, sisters, and children continue to suffer.

This 16 Days of Activism, we are launching a Football for Change Tournament  from Ward to Constituency level  to bring our people together under one call:

Play for Peace. Stand for Protection. Speak for Change.

Through sports, we are building a movement that:

Raises awareness on GBV prevention and survivor support
Engages youth in positive, community-driven action
Promotes unity, respect, and discipline among our young people

But we can’t do this alone. We are seeking to raise Ksh 650,000 to support the tournament — covering equipment, logistics, awareness materials, and community outreach.

Your contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly into empowering our youth and ending violence in Nyakach.

Join the cause. Be part of the change.

Send your contribution via M-PESA to [ Paybill Number : 4075877 – COFAS Kenya/ Mpesa Number: ‪+254725204648‬: Peter Gregory]

For sponsorships and partnerships, contact: [ +254799971240⁩ ]

Together, we can make Nyakach GBV free.

We understand the importance of approaching each work integrally and believe in the power of simple.
